“The Jumpin ‘Jigawatts” is a Zagreb cover band founded in 2014. This band consists of five young musicians who found a common ground in the passion they share for the music of the 50’s and 60’s, which includes classic rock and roll, rockabilly, doo wop, blues, jump blues, soul and rhythm and blues.
Their mission is to revive, expand and preserve the passion for vintage music among all ages and profiles of people, and they guarantee that they will shake even the most stiff audience.
The line-up of Jigawatts has remained unchanged since the first day, and consists of drummer Matijaz Horvat, keyboardist Vjekoslav Žuna, saxophonist Viktor Mihoković, guitarist Nikola Borovnik and singer-bassist Matija Benci. So far, the band has performed in numerous clubs, as well as at various festivals and open events in Zagreb and abroad.
