B and the Bops (Croatia)

B and The Bops

“B and the Bops” are one of the leading Croatian rockabilly bands. Unlike many other bands in this genre that’re playing mainly covers, these guys are playing also their own original works. The band has published two albums by German label Rhythm Bomb Records – Don’t Stop The Rock Bop (2013.) and All Tangled Up! (2015).

Members of the band are Branko Radovančević (vocal & rhythm guitar), Damir Dimić (leading guitar), Josip Adam (drums), all from Zagreb (Croatia) and Carl Baker (double bass) – an Australian with a German residence. However, due to Baker’s distant location, Miroslav Bertol plays double bass as a temporary replacement from time to time.

“B and the Bops” have played at almost all major rockabilly festivals in Europe – High Rockabilly, Rockabilly Rave, Get Rhythm Go Wild, Vintage Roots Festival, Big Rhythm Rumble and many more. They play mostly in Germany and Italy, but occasionally also in Hungary, Slovenia, Switzerland, Sweden, France…
