The 8th Hang Loose Rockabilly Festival was held on June 29, 2024 for the second time at the beautiful location of “Šokački stan”, with a warm-up on June 28, 2024 in the yard of the Hang Loose bar.
After the cancellation of the Slovenian band “The Overdrive Cats” due to illness, the local band “Greasy Flat4” played on Friday night, as a warm-up for their Saturday performance.
On Saturday, we had perfect weather conditions, so the daytime colorfulness of the festival shone in full glory. A handicraft fair, flea market, oldtimer exhibition, live tattoo, Pin-Up Photo session, children’s workshop by the “Naša djeca” NGO, dance workshop by Zora Vinčić and evening concert program relaxed and entertained all generations of guests from all over Slavonia and Baranja, other parts of Croatia, and even abroad.
The main, musical part of the festival featured performances by “Greasy Flat4”, “B and The Bops” and “Jake Calypso and his Red Hot”, the gig lasted until after midnight and shook everybody’s hips.
