The 7th Hang Loose Rockabilly Festival was held at a new location, perhaps the most beautiful so far.
“Šokački stan”, just a mile outside the town of Vinkovci hosted our event for the first time on July 1st, and this festival brought us the most foreign visitors so far.
The warm-up for the main part of the festival was held on Friday, June 30, in the backyard of the Rockabilly Bar “Hang Loose” with a rockabilly DJ and the Hungarian band Marcello and the Flaming Boppers, and on Saturday at “Šokački Stan” on the stage were Ati Edge and the Shadowbirds, Ed Philips and the Memphis Patrol and the Lonesome Carroll Rockabilly Show.
Traditionally, there were accompanying contents: an exhibition of vintage vehicles, a flea market and a handicraft fair, make-up, haircuts, a barber, children’s workshops. dance workshops, pin-up photo session…
The event took place in a pleasant and positive atmosphere, and we hope will see you at the same place in 2024!
